I tried to do this a while back with my point and shoot... but just didn't have the focusing capabilities. So I was thrilled when it actually worked for me this time!

Okay, is it just me, or do the leaves look a little too blurry? And do you know a way I can avoid that next time?

I noticed a nice pair of limb loppers in your shed. I bet they would do the trick.
I don't think that the leaves are too blurry at all. They add visual interest.
If they were in focus, they would be competing for attention to Z's face. As is, the eye is drawn directly to baby's face instead of the leaves.
AND the leaves make a nice "frame" for his face.
Good work! :)
yup, what tammi said. i love it! :) and p.s. - that's all about aperture baby!!
