Tree Peeker

Is the contrast to high in this picture? After debating back and forth yesterday while editing I thought it looked good. But then this morning I looked at it with fresh eyes and it just looks a bit off.

Is it just me? Do you see it too? I need feedback. :)

How come we can't click on your pictures to make them bigger? Is that a setting you can change??

As for the contrast....I think your contrast is fine, but it looks like your focus is off by a little bit. See how the tree is sharply in focus, but Z's face is a little blurry? It's a cute picture, and your exposure looks pretty good...just that little focus problem.

Don't sweat it too much though...focus and exposure are the hardest things for people to learn when they're starting out. And you already seem to be getting a good grasp on the exposure.

Are you in full manual here, btw?

It isnt a setting... I think its how I upload them. I'll look into that.

FOCUS! I can definitely see how the focus is on the wrong thing. I have been reading about exposure here recently, but haven't got to focus yet. I am going to need to read up on that booger.

I am ashamed to say that the thought of switching to manual makes me want to pee my pants. I am lacking the confidence for that. So yeah. Definitely still on auto here. I am hoping to get off of that setting soon though.

Thanks for your help! :)

Definitely GET OFF THAT AUTO! At least set it to the semi-manual settings (AV, S, TV, etc).
Don't be afraid!
