I am not a fan of the lighting on this one... but its basically the only one I took today. Oh well.
Zachariah has recently learned that he can "draw" on the condensation that covers the windows in the mornings. Its his new favorite. :)

The reason that you don't like the lighting on this one is that it's underexposed.
Have you read about metering yet?
Basically, your camera was trying to meter (or get the correct exposure) for the light coming in the window.
What you WANT to do is have your camera meter for Z's face.
I may be 12 steps ahead of you in your photography journey, but I just thought i would explain in case you had read up on metering yet. :)
I JUST read about metering the day after I took this picture!
I never knew there were so many things that I needed to get a handle on! Whew!
